I have known Mr. Abhinav Saxena for 2 years, since he first came to Springfield, Illinois, to attend the university, Aug 2016. As part of our friendship, we visited many historic sites, cultural sites and did other activities. Mr. Saxena was, at all times, friendly, professional and courteous. He is able to take photos, in sites where discretion is a must, without being obtrusive. He is also able to make his subjects comfortable. His photos are works of art, regardless of the lighting limitations or other distractions. He takes pride in his work and is comfortable with people from all walks of life regardless of their background, culture, language. I highly recommend Mr. Saxena and I believe he will do an excellent job for you too.

Abhinav is my best buddy at college and what do best buddies do, they make you guinea pigs for their experiments, and I was one such in his initial years of photography, and I am happy that I was one. He has grown by leaps and bounds since then. He always had an eye for detail and storytelling capability-one must listen to his stories. And these qualities greatly help him at his trade. There is one instance that I remember very vividly. A bunch of our friends went out for dinner one evening at the Hyderabad’s famous Paradise restaurant, there we spotted this very welcoming door boy who was all smiles and had nice warmth surrounding him. Abhinav quickly took his camera out and clicked a picture of this gentleman, it was a very candid take and the gentleman was genuinely surprised and was very happy. He greeted us welcome while we entered and said a very cheerful bye when we left. Abhinav came back home and was in love with that picture that he wanted to gift something to the subject, so he printed and professionally laminated this picture, went right back to that restaurant the following week and gifted it to that door boy. Isn’t this a wonderful gesture! Well, the door boy felt the same. He was overwhelmed with joy and said “Many people come and go to this restaurant, but nobody asked me to pose for a picture, but you did that sir and you went to an extent that you printed this and came back to give it to me, thank you so much, I will put this up on a wall at home and tell my kids about you”. That is Abhinav for you, he is a photographer with a heart of gold. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for something new, because he can turn the mundane into something very special.
